The USDA Rural Business Opportunity Grant program has provided a $25,000 grant to the Center for Technology & Business to support business development training in southwest North Dakota.
“The grant will help provide development and leadership services that often are not readily available to businesses in rural areas,” said Jasper Schneider, North Dakota USDA Rural Development director. “These services go a long way in helping small business owners succeed.”
According to the state USDA rural development office, the center will use the grant specifically to provide training on modern business and technology tools for maintaining and growing a successful business. Topics covered in the six-month program will include blogging, mobile business applications, social media, mobile point of sales systems, the Cloud and online reputation management.
